I have the honor of being the first member of the Bison Wellness Club at Memphis Ranch. I have personally visited the ranch multiple times and witnessed the excellent health and wellness of the animals, as well as the care taken to ensure their well-being.
Greg and Tami, the owners of the ranch, and their sons are exceptional stewards of the land and the animals. They genuinely care about both the animals and the customers who purchase their meat. Their customer service has been exceptional always happy to accept special requests when I have had them.
They strive to provide the healthiest alternative to beef possible. In my own health journey, I have been searching for alternatives to traditional medicine for my Colitis. After experiencing multiple rounds of steroids and relapses, I decided to explore other options. That's when I discovered the AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) diet, which is an elimination diet that removes pro-inflammatory foods. This diet has been a prayer answered for me, as it allows me to control my symptoms by eliminating grains, nightshade vegetables, dairy, certain oils, legumes, sugar, and certain spices. I found Memphis Ranch Bison through my search for food alternatives. While I had to eliminate beef, pork, and chicken fed on grains from my diet, I found that grass-fed bison did not cause any negative reactions for me. Food has truly become my medicine, helping my digestive system heal and preventing symptom flare-ups. I strongly believe in supporting our local farmers and ranchers and knowing where my food comes from. It is important to me to strengthen our local economy by purchasing locally grown and raised food.
